Las Barranquillas - in Spanish with English subtitles. This film is part of the ¡Hay Motivo! short film series produced in Spain in 2004 and was directed by Victor García León. It is a critique of the government’s lack of social programs for drug addicts.
When I went to Spain for the first time I had a hard time understanding anything, even though my native language is Spanish. Funny, isn’t it? It takes a while to get used to the rhythm and melody of speech, and also the use of different vocabulary and idiomatic expressions.
